Supporting the implementation of the Anti-Discrimination Act |
Act Partners:
Office for Human Rights of the Government of the Republic of Croatia as project leader in cooperation with the Office of the Ombudsman and the Centre for Peace Studies The project covers the following grounds of discrimination:
» disability
» race or ethnic origin
» age
» religion
» sexual orientation The project consists of several components:
• Education on the implementation of the Anti-Discrimination Act (for employees of the equality body (Ombudsman), judges, State attorneys, attorneys, lawyers, representatives of non-government organizations, representatives of the business sector)
• Carrying out a public opinion poll among citizens of the Republic of Croatia on discrimination
• Public awareness campaign aimed at raising the awareness of the citizens of the Republic of Croatia on discrimination
